04 - Why now
The Indian scouting gap.
For every Sunil Chhetri, a thousand kids never got the trial. Scouting in India still runs on phone calls and personal favours. Spotrial is rebuilding it on data, video, and trust.
Of all registered youth players in India, fewer than one in a hundred ever gets seen by a professional scout.
Most clubs still fill trials through coaches, agents and informal connections, not open discovery.
When a player switches clubs or cities, their match history, footage and references usually disappear.
One verified profile. One Spotrial score. Seen by every club on the network.
